Mesón Cuevas del Vino occupies a 300-year-old farmhouse in Chinchón, protected as a site of touristic interest, and has run as a restaurant since 1964. It is known for roasted meats cooked in what it calls Spain's largest wood-fired oven, served alongside a museum-style walk through old wine caves, an oil mill, and giant earthenware jars signed by past celebrity guests. It opens for lunch from midday most days, with an outdoor terrace for cyclists passing through Chinchón's old quarter.
