Raleigh France is a bicycle shop and café on the edge of Brest, run by Éric Berthou, a former professional road cyclist, together with his wife Virginie. The wood-panelled showroom doubles as a coffee stop, with a proper coffee machine and club armchairs built around an old workbench. It is the exclusive French importer for Raleigh, the 140-year-old British bicycle brand. A lunch counter, Les Grignottes, serves daily specials and crepes for riders passing through.
Berthou raced professionally before turning the shop into Raleigh's sole French importer, building it out into a full café-showroom rather than a plain sales counter. The interior keeps a wooden, workshop feel around the coffee machine and club chairs, and the attached food truck, Les Grignottes, gives cyclists a proper lunch stop rather than just a coffee. Riders come as much for the midday refuel as for the bikes themselves.
