Café Fringale is a specialty espresso bar in Zoersel, opened in 2021 by Kris Boeckmans, the retired Lotto-Soudal sprinter who took eight UCI wins in 2015 including Le Samyn and Nokere Koerse. Boeckmans personally selects and blends the coffee served here, offering a House blend alongside seasonal roasts. It draws cyclists and non-cyclists alike for bagels, broodjes and pancakes alongside the espresso bar concept.

Boeckmans opened Fringale in 2021 after retiring from professional racing at the end of 2020, closing out a career that ran through Vacansoleil-DCM, Topsport Vlaanderen-Mercator, Lotto Soudal and B&B Hotels-Concept. He wanted the café to be a specialty espresso bar rather than a typical cyclist hangout, curating three house blends himself and avoiding the bitter, burnt coffee he says most cycling cafes serve. Riders who stop in on the café's open days find him behind the counter more often than not, talking through the blends he picked.
