Grunewaldturm is a 56-metre red-brick tower designed by Franz Schwechten and built in 1897-98 for the centenary of Kaiser Wilhelm I, opening in 1899 as the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Turm on the Karlsberg hill above the Havel. Renamed after World War II for the surrounding Grunewald forest, it still holds a marble statue of Wilhelm I in its domed hall. Climb its 204 steps for a view over the river and woods.

The Grunewald Tower or is a historical tower in the Grunewald forest of southwestern Berlin, Germany, built in 1897-99 according to plans designed by Franz Heinrich Schwechten. The viewing platform offers a view over the Havel at a height of 36 metres (118 ft).
