Museum Vrolik is an anatomical collection housed at Amsterdam UMC, built up from around 1800 by professors Gerardus and Willem Vrolik. It holds roughly 10,000 specimens: human and animal skeletons and skulls alongside pathological anatomy and congenital malformations preserved in formaldehyde. The city bought the collection in 1869; it moved into the AMC's medical faculty building in 1984. Guided tours need booking two weeks ahead.
