Waybook takes the route you have loaded on your Karoo, scans the surroundings and builds an offline catalog of interesting places along the way, like cafés, sights, food, or iconic climbs.

Install

Sideload the APK from github.com/jakubfoglar/waybook-karoo — the same as any Karoo extension.

  1. 01Open the releases page in the Karoo’s browser, or copy the APK over from a computer.
  2. 02Tap the file — Android asks once about unknown sources.
  3. 03Long-press a data field on a ride page and pick Waybook.

That’s the only sideload — updates arrive over WiFi. Waybook’s in beta and sends anonymous diagnostics, position included, to catch bugs; turn it off in Settings, or read waybook.cc/privacy.

Built by one rider, not affiliated with Hammerhead or SRAM — the same places live in the web atlas.
