Priddy Circles are four Neolithic earthwork enclosures set in a line across the Mendip plateau, each nearly 200 metres across and spread over about 1.2 kilometres. Dated to roughly the same era as Stonehenge, they are unusual among henges for their outward-facing ditches and their upland, springless setting. Best appreciated from the air, the banks still show clearly in the pasture at ground level.
