Church · Munich
Checked
Mariae Verkündigung is the Baroque pilgrimage and monastery church at Kloster Reutberg, built between 1733 and 1735 as a donation from Munich court treasurer Christian Raßfeld, with the Franciscan brother Gebhard Westermayr of Tölz as architect. Its octagonal tower with a curved dome followed in 1760, and the altar area was built after the model of the sanctuary in Loreto. Most of the original furnishings survive.
