Schloss Reichersbeuern, also called Schloss Sigriz, is a moated castle six kilometres east of Bad Tölz, first mentioned in 1350 on a site documented since 875. It began as a water fortress before 955 and took its present form from 16th-century rebuilding under Veit Jakob Tänzl von Tratzberg. The Sigriz family has owned it since 1829, and it now houses the Max-Rill-Schule.
