Coll d'Orient is a 6.2 km cycling climb averaging 4.4% (+271 m), rising from 224 m to 494 m in Mallorca.
The quiet middle of the Alaró and Orient loop: a coll at just under 500 m on the Ma-2100, ridden for its unbroken 5% rhythm and the greener, rolling country it crosses. Cyclists lean on it heavily enough that the Consell began a 6.1 million euro resurfacing of the full 18 km road in 2026.

History
The Coll d'Orient road spent twelve years in the drafting office. A route between Alaró and Orient by way of s'Olivaret and Solleric was drawn up in 1932, given technical approval in 1934 on condition that parts be redesigned, modified in 1942, sent back by the public works office in 1943 for further changes, and finally settled in 1944 when engineer Mariano Pascual Fortuny presented the definitive version, costed at 1,810,633.22 pesetas. The pass now sits on the Ma-2100, the 18 km road tying Bunyola, Orient and Alaró together, which is heavily used by cyclists and went more than 25 years without a comprehensive intervention. On 19 January 2026 the Consell de Mallorca started a 6.1 million euro resurfacing of the full 18 km, a long-standing demand of both residents and the cyclists who ride it.
