Doble Coffee is a specialty coffee shop on Passeig del Rei in Esporles, at the foot of the Tramuntana mountains, run by co-founders Alba and Alex. It is known for its espresso and filter coffee (V60, batch brew) alongside a brunch menu of eggs benedict, pancakes and tostadas, served with a relaxed, community-minded vibe. The large terrace has room to leave a bike, and the café has become a regular stop for cyclists, including professionals, riding the Tramuntana roads.
Doble Coffee & More, to give it its full name, was founded by Alba and Alex on fair trade sourcing and a stated ethos of human connection and respect for the environment. It draws hikers heading up into the Tramuntana as readily as it draws riders, and within a couple of months of opening it was already a fixture of the village routine. The kitchen runs past breakfast and brunch into a lunch menu, and the counter turns out homemade ice creams and, later in the day, natural wine and craft beer alongside the espresso. The 'Doble' in the name carries a deliberate double meaning, built right into the cafe's own branding.
