Snow housesNear the summit stand the remains of cases de neu, snow houses that once stored winter snow. It was kept through summer and used mainly to treat the sick and preserve food.
Photo finishThe Cursa Tomir has circled the massif for 25 years, past Lassarell, la Mola and the Camí Vell de Lluc to the summit. In the 2026 edition Kilian Jornet, Elhousine Elazzaoui and Dakota Jones crossed the line together, three tenths of a second apart.
PracticalThe final stretch to the summit is a scramble secured by a fixed chain and metal holds, not a stroll.
