AlpiNN Food Space is the bistro side of chef Norbert Niederkofler's restaurant atop Kronplatz/Plan de Corones, housed in a glass structure on the site of the old summit cable-car station, beside the Lumen Museum. It follows Niederkofler's "Cook the Mountain" philosophy: seasonal, regional dishes meant to share, plus a terrace over the Dolomites. The summit is a noted cycling climb, its gravel final kilometres a Giro d'Italia mountain time-trial finish in 2019, and the Food Space opens at 9:30am for riders who reach the top.
