Monte Mulaz rises to 2,906 metres as a prominent rock crest at the northern edge of the Pale di San Martino, reached over the Passo del Mulaz from the Rifugio Mulaz below. Its normal route carries no technical difficulty despite the height, and the summit is marked by a bell that climbers ring on arrival, a long-standing ritual. The view takes in the Pale di San Martino from one of the range's best vantage points.
