Rifugio Fuciade began as a barn on high pastures above Soraga, opened as a refuge in 1960, and sits in a basin below Passo San Pellegrino facing the Pale di San Martino. It serves Italian and Ladin mountain cooking, noted in gastronomic guides, from a terrace and garden in a car-free valley. The hut is about a 40-minute walk from Passo San Pellegrino on a gentle, stroller-friendly trail, or reachable by mountain bike through the valley.
