Rifugio Lagazuoi sits on the summit of Monte Lagazuoi at 2,752 metres, the highest hut in the Dolomites, reached by cable car from Passo Falzarego. Its bar and restaurant serve local cuisine, homemade cakes and coffee, with a wide terrace facing the Tofane, Cinque Torri and the Marmolada, and a larch-built sauna. For cyclists cresting the Falzarego climb, the hut is a cable-car stop above the pass, open daily from early June through October.
