Malga Sanon (Sanonhütte) is a family-run mountain hut on the Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm, Europe's largest high-altitude Alpine meadow. Hosts Magdalena and Raffael serve homemade South Tyrolean and Ladin dishes and desserts in a stube warmed by a traditional heating oven from Val Gardena. The hut opens daily from 7am, reachable on foot, by mountain bike, or by horse-drawn sleigh. It counts among the more original refuges on the plateau, a spot to refuel mid-ride before continuing across the Alm.
