Basilica minor atop Svatý Hostýn, completed 1747. One of Moravia's most significant pilgrimage churches, designated a national cultural monument in 2018.
The church is dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary and carries the title of basilica minor. It is the main building of the pilgrimage grounds on Svatý Hostýn hill, built in a late Baroque style that tends toward classicizing lines. The basilica belongs to a small group of the most significant Marian pilgrimage churches in the Czech lands, ranked alongside Velehrad in Moravia and Svatá Hora u Příbrami in Bohemia.
