Restaurant Octárna is the restaurant of a small hotel set in a former Franciscan monastery in the historic centre of Kroměříž, its name recalling the vinegar factory once housed there. It serves classic Czech and international dishes, imaginative salads and homemade desserts, with a menu that turns seasonal (asparagus in spring, goose in autumn). Its best-known feature is the stone-paved courtyard terrace, shaded by greenery and teak furniture, the restaurant's most-used space on summer days. Central to town and its cycling routes, the hotel also publishes its own guide to cycling around the Kroměříž region.
