Králův stolec is a wooden viewpoint gazebo perched on a prominent ridge above the Dyje river at the end of the Znojmo reservoir's backwater, within Podyjí National Park near Znojmo. According to legend, the Polish king Jan III Sobieski watched his army cross the Dyje from here in 1683 while marching to relieve Vienna, which was besieged by the Turks.
