The café belongs to Jan Vastl, a Czech cross-country mountain biker who raced for Bianchi, Maloja Pushbikers, GAPP System-Kolofix and the ROUVY Cycling Team, and his wife Nikola Vastlová. They opened it in May 2020 in the family's own house in Sušice, with a clear division of labour Vastl described to MTBS.cz: his full focus on racing, Nikola's on the café. Riders find a racer's coffee standards plus local sourcing, with pastries from Pekařství Rendl and lemonades from Šumavěnka, and a garden with seating and a children's playground for family stops.
