A 50-meter steel lookout tower on the summit above Ústí nad Orlicí, nicknamed 'Stříbrná krasavice' (Silver Beauty) for its slender silver frame. Climb 183 steps to a platform at 35 meters for views stretching to the Orlické hory and Krkonoše. Built in 1996, the third tower on this spot since 1905.
The steel tower stands on the 559-meter summit of Andrlův chlum above Ústí nad Orlicí, and on a clear day the platform at 35 meters looks out toward the Orlické hory and the Krkonoše on the horizon. Its slender silver frame earned it the nickname 'Stříbrná krasavice', the Silver Beauty. It is the third lookout tower on this spot: a 30-meter wooden tower opened here in 1905 and burned down in 1918, a second wooden tower stood from 1943 to 1954, and the current steel structure opened on 19 May 1996. Beyond its role as a viewpoint, the tower also carries a television transmitter, and since 2019 the local station Radio Orlicko has broadcast from the roof of the Chata Hvězda lodge at its foot. The lodge itself serves as the base for a visit, with a restaurant and terrace looking up at the tower.

Practical
The tower is open year-round; if it isn't staffed, tickets and the platform key are available at the Chata Hvězda restaurant at its base. Opening hours are shorter in the off season (October to April) than in summer.
