zámek Zbraslav
Czechia
The last kings of the Přemyslid line were buried here, in the abbey Wenceslaus II founded in 1292 and named Aula Regia, Königsaal in German, the king's hall. Its abbot Peter of Zittau wrote the Zbraslav Chronicle, the most important source anyone left for Bohemian history in the first half of the 14th century, and the house also gave its name to the Madonna of Zbraslav, a Gothic painting of the 1340s. Joseph II abolished the abbey in 1789.
