Rígrovka is a training café run by Charita Kralupy nad Vltavou, the local charity: the people making the coffee and serving the tables are clients of the charity's own employment programme, building the skills and confidence to work in a normal job. The café describes itself, in its own words, as a place that has heart rather than an ordinary café. Alongside coffee and pastries it runs a full kitchen, cooking a daily lunch menu from local suppliers and farmers and delivering it around town, and a small in-house shop sells handmade textile and ceramic pieces from the charity's other workshops. Behind the counter is a small courtyard terrace, and beyond the tables the café works as a community room, hosting exhibitions, parent-and-child sessions, craft workshops and a regular pub quiz. It keeps office hours rather than café hours, open Monday to Friday and closed at weekends.

Out back, a small enclosed courtyard doubles as a terrace: wooden picnic tables and café chairs under market umbrellas, one wall painted with a hand-lettered mural of coffee cups and ice cream.
